The intervention involved the demolition of an existing structure and the construction of a new building featuring a basement level and three storeys above ground, located in the heart of Barolo. The basement floor is dedicated to parking spaces and storage, with direct access via a car lift from Piazza Colbert.

    The ground floor houses commercial spaces (shops, bars, restaurants) with the possibility of setting up an outdoor seating area (dehor) for exclusive use. A portion of the first floor was also allocated for commercial activities, featuring a private terrace overlooking Via Alba. The remaining area of the first floor and the entire second floor were designed for guest accommodation, featuring studios and three-room apartments of various sizes, served by a communal staircase and lift.

    All units face directly onto Piazza Colbert, offering an invaluable view of the Langhe and Barolo Castle. The building was designed to ensure energy efficiency while integrating harmoniously with the surrounding environment.
