The construction company, awarded the contract via a public tender process, performed restoration works on the pier shafts and pier caps of the Orba Viaduct. The structure is located on the A26 Motorway (Section I – Genoa – Predosa-Bettole branch), between the municipalities of Predosa and Fresonara (AL).

    Activities included:

    • Removal of deteriorated concrete, performed via mechanical chiselling.
    • Passivation of existing reinforcement bars through the application of a two-component mortar.
    • Surface restoration using pre-mixed, thixotropic, and fibre-reinforced cementitious mortar to ensure maximum resistance and durability.
    • Final protection with a polymer-modified two-component mortar coating.

    The intervention enhanced the durability and safety of the viaduct, preserving its functionality for both directions of travel.
